Throwback Thursday: Logan 5 live at Catalyst Cocktails SF, August 2005

Throw-back-Thursday! Ten years ago this weekend, my wife and I had our bachelor/bachelorette party in San Francisco, invited all of our friends, and basically said goodbye to the Bay Area - we moved to Chico just a few weeks later after the wedding. I opened the party, which my talented brother Joe headlined, and I played my ass off - all vinyl, of course. It remains one of my favorite sets I've ever played. Thanks to J!m V for the comic graphics to memorialize the night. Ep 4.12 - Guest DJ Sean-Michael Yoder - August 8, 2015

20 years ago I saw Sean Yoder's name on an old program schedule when I was just a fledgling DJ at our college radio station. By that time he'd already been an LA punk gadfly, a writer, and a music collector. In the subsequent 20 years he's been a PR agent, 1-man record store, party promoter, husband, blogger, scene pillar, my friend for the last 10 years (particularly glad about that part), and a constant source of surprising musical insight. So on KZFR tonight, Sean cracks open the musical vaults of his mind palace for 2 hours on my show.
