It was my pleasure this week to have Chico's own DJ/producer Oilpanic in the studio to mix up some of his favorite current sounds. Hjalmar Hake aka Oilpanic hails originally from Sweden but has called Chico his home for many years. He's recently released techno tracks and EPs to critical acclaim on the local 530Techno label as well as Blipswitch, Musical Missionaries and Waveform, and has been nominated numerous times for best electronic artist in Chico.
