I regret I was unable to record this show; they updated the computer and took away my CoolEdit software - I'll have it sorted by next time. Tonight's show spontaneously featured lots of science fiction and secret plot themes woven through a tumultuous blend of drum-and-bass, dark breaks, post-rock and out jazz, classic tech house and even a favorite mashup.

It was my pleasure this week to have Chico's own DJ/producer Oilpanic in the studio to mix up some of his favorite current sounds. Hjalmar Hake aka Oilpanic hails originally from Sweden but has called Chico his home for many years. He's recently released techno tracks and EPs to critical acclaim on the local 530Techno label as well as Blipswitch, Musical Missionaries and Waveform, and has been nominated numerous times for best electronic artist in Chico. Oilpanic brought in his Traktor rig and I let him take over the show for this rare treat. Hope you enjoy the podcast.
